Hello.
I am looking for advice and guidance from any english speaking cyclists that might be able to point me to a good bicycle repair specialist in Bucharest. I have a 5 year old MTB that I have snapped the rear swingarm on. I have contacted the manufacturer and they no longer carry spare parts. I am looking for either a replacement, a weld repair or even a complete frame assembly that i can transfer all parts to. If anyone could point me to in the right direction, it would be appreciated.. Thanks.

I don't think it is recommended to weld the swingarm, but given that your frame is probably the "wrong" wheel size by now it will be hard to find a brand new one.
You'll find that bike shops don't have welding equipment, most if not all search results ("sudura aluminiu bucuresti") return auto shops (gieuroservice.ro, sudezaluminiu.ro) - if you want to go that route just try contacting some of them.
Last but not least, the classifieds section of this website has a frames section, you might be able to find something: http://www.dirtbike.ro/bazar/piese/cadre/ordonare(pret-descrescator)/

Heya, Michael!
First of all, don't panic. This is the country where people don't turn things into scrap that easily and objects live a long life. it's in our blood. This means that there are quite a few people who'll be able to deal with your problem. But first, show us what you got! At least tell us a make, a model. Pictures are always welcome.
Bucharest is home to a dude who did a lot of good to the community what repairing is concerned. His name is Radu Nicolcea, they call him ”the engineer” for good reasons and you can find him here: http://www.sudura-aluminiu.ro
Go with him. I trust him fully. He also has this FB page here: https://www.facebook.com/sudura-aluminiuro-225937397441821/timeline/
I called him right now, just to make sure that he is available and he said no problem!
The best of luck, mate!
