In addition to the well-known MTB tours, this year there will also be a separate gravel tour around Zelhem, through wooded areas with varied nature and many challenges. The Scheffer Keukens Gravel Tour Zelhem. From start to finish, you will ride with a big smile on your face through the Gravel Valhalla of the Netherlands, the Achterhoek! The route planners have mapped out a beautiful tour along pretty back roads, deserted sandy paths, and quiet stretches. You can choose between two distances: 45 km and 85 km. That may not seem very long, but at least 75% of the route is unpaved and therefore challenging. The long loop has many new stretches and has been renewed once again, now also including roads and paths between Ruurlo, Borculo, and Barchem. The short route is available as a GPS file, but is also signposted so that people without a GPS device can also cycle the route effortlessly!
