MTB en Graveltocht Kattenbos 2026

The MTB edition and Gravel Tour Kattenbos 2026 will take place on Sunday 18 January 2026, starting in Lommel, province of Limburg, Flanders.

MTB and gravel tour Kattenbos VWB offers a choice of 4 routes (82, 60, 45, 25 km) for gravel bikes and mountain bikes.

On Sunday 18 January 2026, the sporty group of friends Kattenbos Bevers - a group of friends who enjoy cycling and the outdoors - invites you to a great day full of adventure and fun. They want to organise their popular mountain bike tour for the third time. Whether you are a novice mountain biker or a seasoned adventurer, this tour has something to offer everyone.

In addition to the well-known MTB tours with distances of 27 and 45 kilometres, participants can enjoy an adventurous Gravel tour for the first time, extending the challenge with two brand new Gravel routes of 60 and 83 kilometres. An unmissable experience for every mountain bike or Gravel bike enthusiast!

The start is at 8:30 a.m. at the Kattenbos Sport grounds, Oude Diestersebaan 55. Here you can register, prepare your bike and explore one of the mapped routes together with other participants.

You can ride the following routes:

- MTB 27 km: an ideal route for novice mountain bikers or those who want to take a shorter ride. Enjoy the peaceful nature and beautiful wooded surroundings of Kattenbos.

- MTB 45 km: for more experienced mountain bikers looking for an extra challenge. This route offers promising and more technical sections, but remains accessible to most riders.

- Gravel bike 60 km and 83 km: new this year are the 60 and 83 kilometre gravel routes! The routes, which take you over both paved and unpaved roads, offer a fantastic experience for gravel bike fans who want variety and challenge.

Participants can download the GPX file for the gravel route on site via a QR code when registering. The MTB route is fully signposted. Practical refreshments are provided along the way for both tours, so you can even refuel.

Cost:

- VWB members: 5 euros

- Non-members: 7 euros

Facilities:

- Refreshments with hot, fresh soup, fruit, waffles, biscuits and sports drinks.

- Help and support for a safe ride.

- After the tour, there will be an opportunity to enjoy a drink and a snack and chat about the day's adventures.

- Shower facilities available
