Memorial Tuur Hancke (Lo-Reninge) 2026

In the municipality Lo-Reninge this year, a special racing competition will be organized on March 14 in memory of Tuur Hancke. Eand talented cyclist who passed away far too early. Tuur was known for his passion for the race, his fighting spirit and his warm personality that managed to touch many inside and outside the peloton. With this competition, friends, family and the local community want to continue to honor his love for cycling and the connection he brought.
The organization is a joint initiative of ours with the party committee of Lo-Reninge, the KSA and student club Lila, of which Tuur himself was an active member. Together we ensure a day when sport, friendship and memory come together in an atmosphere that is all about Tuur.
The course is based on that of De Moeren Classic and runs over the characteristic polder roads of the region. It will be a course with content and character.
