Flensburg-Hamburg is a Brevet ride. You organize your own travel to Flensburg, as well as your return trip from Hamburg. And you're responsible for your own food and drinks along the way, as you would expect on a Brevet. What you get: An unforgettable tour in great cycling company and a fantastic route from Flensburg to Husum, then down the North Sea coast and along the Elbe River to Hamburg. We want to ride together as a group or in groups as much as possible, so the tour will be at a "social pace"! No need to push yourself too hard at the start of the season!
We'll start shortly after 8:00 a.m. at Flensburg train station, because the Hamburg train arrives in Flensburg just before 8:00 a.m. It will definitely be dark by the end, as the tour is approximately 250 km long. Bring lights! The finish line is on the Waseberg hill, from where it's just a short walk to the Blankenese S-Bahn station. If you like, you can also ride all the way to downtown Hamburg. The route goes all the way to the S-Bahn station.
The event is registered as a brevet with German Cycling, and the kilometers count towards the annual ranking.
The recreational sports license will be scanned in Flensburg.
We charge a starting fee of 5 euros for the organization in Flensburg.
The deadline for advance registration is March 11, 2026 (Wednesday).
